He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Sr. Snipes and Romelia Snipes; and his children, Caren, Kyle and Kristy. He was also cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, brother, brother/sister in-laws, nieces and nephews, extended family.

He thoroughly enjoyed working at Brookdale and reluctantly retired in 2020 amidst the Pandemic.
