It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Smith of Warren, New Jersey, born in Erwinna, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Herstine and Mary R. Herstine (Kaminski); her husband C. Russell Smith; her brothers, Ernest E. Herstine and Stanley E. Herstine; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Herstine.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon K. Smith and Russell R. Smith; her grandchildren, Lauren McGinley (Shane), Russell R. Jr. (Allison Rogers) and Savannah Emsweller (Adam); and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Herstine and Mary J. Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Edwards R.C. Church, Riegel Ridge Community Center, or the Huntington Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, formerly the Huntington Fire Co. Booster Club.
