It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne P. Sharkey of Wanaque, New Jersey, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marie Laffey (County Longford) and Michael Laffey (County Galway); her children, John Sharkey (Christine) of Painted Post, NY, Kevin Sharkey (Kathleen) of The Woodlands, TX, Michael Sharkey (Anna) of Rumson, NJ, Anne Larkin (Daniel) of Mahwah, NJ and James Sharkey of Philadelphia, PA.; her grandchildren, Matthew, Connor Sharkey, Liam, Dylan, Ryan, Aidan Sharkey, Maya, Elsa Sharkey, Sean, Kathleen, Patrick and Brendan Larkin; her husband Bill (Bill); and her siblings, Joan Smith and Donald Laffey.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to Tomorrows Children's Fund to help children with cancer and serious blood disorders.
