It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salvador O. Payan Jr. of Vineland, New Jersey, born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Payan Sr. and Ignacia Ortiz; his wife MaryJane Payan; and his sons, Richard Payan and John A. Payan.
He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Rivera (Enrique) of Vineland; his grandchildren, Angel Hancock (Craig) of Vineland and Kristina Varela (Xavier Sr.) of Vineland; his great grandchildren, Alizaya, Brandon Jr. and Xavier Jr. of Vineland; his children, Salvador Payan III (Becky) of Vineland and Norma Hanks (Charlie) of Riverside; his daughter-in-law Maria Payan of Browns Mills; and his sisters, Rachel Herrera (Albert) of Arizona and Rosalie Martinez of California. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
