He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan E. Rodriguez-Morales and Carmen Morales-Barriera; and his siblings, Elsa Matias, Juan and Santos.

He is survived by: his wife Georgina P. Rodriguez; his children, Hector R. Jr. Rodriguez (Maria) and Jeanette Rodriguez of Vineland, NJ; his grandchildren, Dennis Rodriguez (Randi) of Blackwood, NJ, Hillary R. Rodriguez of Ft. Myers, FL, Brandon Kennedy (Shauri) and Hannah R. Rodriguez of Vineland, NJ; his great grandchildren, Khloe, Kobe and Kayden Rodriguez of Blackwood, NJ; and his siblings, Samuel Rodriguez (Rhody) and Rosalinda Calderon of Vineland, NJ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Hector attended Higher Places Ministries of Vineland, NJ, and loved to donate to various charities.
