He was predeceased by: his parents, Mother Martha Bell and Jimmy "Fatman" Lee Whitfield; and his sister Karen May Rolle. He is survived by: his son Tobias Byrd (Alexvina); his adoptive daughter Stephanie Blocker; his grandchildren, Derriana Johnson Bryd, Anyia, Avianna Goodwin and Damar Johnson Byrd (Tina Byrd) of North Carolina; his siblings, Carlis Brown of Vineland, Rosemary Rolle of Millville, Lueciel Morgan (Jerry) of Vineland and Calvin R. Rolle of Chicopee; his aunt Lucille Williams of Vineland; and his uncles, David of Georgia and Elijah Bell of Georgia. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
