He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. Selgrath and Harriett Mehl Selgrath; his close friend Frederick R. Payne; and his siblings, Francis X., Michael F., James F. and Mary Lou Smart.
He is survived by: his siblings, Harriett Wehnhold and Gregory F. Selgrath (Carolyn). He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 29 great-nieces and nephews and a great, great nephew.
