He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer A RN and Helen Stevens Abbott, RN; and his sister Marjorie Abbott Vetter (Midge). He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his children, Wilmer A. Abbott III, Emily Abbott, Gerald L. Abbott and Ventnor; his grandchildren, Colin, Elizabeth, Madelyn, Matthew, Ryan and Kaitlyn; his brother-in-law John J. Logan (Marylyn) of Weston, CT; and his son John Scott Abbott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
