He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Thorward and Alice Thorward. He is survived by: his wife Frances "Pat" Thorward; his son Brian Thorward; his daughter-in-law Donielle Thorward; his daughter Loren Medwick; his son-in-law Matthew Medwick; his grandchildren, Renee, Brent, Rileigh Thorward, Emily Medwick and Alexander Medwick; his sister Kathleen Hobbs; his sister-in-law Joan Wharton; his nephew Michael (Lisa); and his nieces, Kelly and Heather.
