He was predeceased by: his parent Dorothy A. (Welsh); his child Leo F. Hughes IV; and his sibling Judith Hughes Bell. He is survived by: his parent Leo F. Hughes II; his daughters, Kate Hughes, Jennifer L. Hughes and Maura Hughes McNamara (William); his granddaughter Marley Theresa McNamara; his sister Mary Elizabeth; his brother-in-law Ronald West; and his friend Eileen Lake Mountford.
