He was predeceased by: his parent George Claffey; and his sister Mary Claffey. He is survived by: his parent Mae Claffey; his wife Evelyn; his children, George E. Claffey III, Joseph Claffey, Mary Ellen Mc Laughlin and Harley Carpenter; his grandchildren, Annie Claffey Sofsky, Jack Laughlin, Hughie Mc Laughlin, Teddy Carpenter, Macy Carpenter and Riley Claffey; and his great grandchild Metta Mary Sofsky.
