She was predeceased by: her child Jacqueline Johnson (Jackie); her parent Bessie Mae McDaniel; her stepparent Willard McDaniel; and her sibling Herman Dozier, Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Herman Dozier Sr.; her children, Michael Johnson, Sr. (Julia) and Carswell Whitehead; her grandchildren, Michael Johnson II, Mikala Johnson, Carlton Whitehead and Maya Johnson; her great grandchildren, Tummonie Johnson, Kamyria Flagg, Ramir Flagg, Cole Johnson, Junnie Brown and Skyler Johnson; her siblings, Eva Mae Daly, Willow McDaniel-Davis (Frank), Faye Lashley and Calvin McDaniel (Song); and her aunts, Rose Cartwright and Edna Blake. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Helen Holiday and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
