She was predeceased by: her husband Archie Vereen; her parents, William Joseph and Elnita Rouse Williams; her daughter Marian Rochelle Vereen-Lewis; and her siblings, Mae Farrar, Zannie Burks, Chelly Hickman Washington, Robert Hickman, Ludy Hickman, Inez Watson, Emma Jane Ward, Curzell Strayhorn, Kathleen Goings and Mildred Hickman.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Wilson (Cricket), Sylvia Ann Patricia Vereen, Margaret Burnell Williams (Pastor Noah), Alvie Tom Vereen (Beverly), Archie Ken Vereen (Yvonne), William Joseph Vereen (Eva), Donald Vereen and Benjamin Bellamy, Jr.. She is also survived by twenty five grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren, 31 great great grandchildren, four nieces, two nephews, and a host of great nieces and great nephews, a very special family friend.
