He is survived by: his brother Patrick Gaffney; his sisters-in-law, Diane Gaffney and Bridget Gaffney; his nieces and nephews, John Gaffney, Colleen Robertson (Alan Robertson), Janice Rowland (Matt Rowland) and Shannon Stoll (Matthew Stoll); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Baier, Spencer Rowland, Christopher Baier, Ryan Stoll and Caeden Stoll.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
