He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Sandomierski (Leo); his grandsons, Jack and Mark of Brick, NJ; his son John F. Carpenter (Susu) of Seaside Heights, NJ; and his brothers, Peter F. Carpenter (Nancy) of Mentor and Richard M. Carpenter (Kathy) of Tampa, FL. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
