She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Stander and Esther Stander (Hirshburg); her former husband Pete Gardner; her son Peter "Jesse" Gardner; and her pet Simba.

She is survived by: her son Benjamin Gardner (Ann-Marie Williams) of Dingmans Ferry, PA; her grandson Jesse Gardner of Nevada; and her friends, Barbara Ligons and Ruth Leth.
