He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Hawthorne (Corcoran); his aunt Anne (Bond); and his uncle John Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Hawthorne (Connolly); his son James of Florham Park, NJ; his brother Kenneth Hawthorne of Toms River, NJ; and his nephews, Brian Hawthorne of Round Rock, TX and Greg Hawthorne of Toms River, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
