He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Fanning and Gerald Charles Fanning; his wife Muriel Erickson Fanning; and his siblings, Eileen Gibson, Eugene Fanning and Charles "Bud" Fanning.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kristin, Lauren, Jackie, Ryan, Matthew, Sean, Emma and Erin; and his great grandchildren, Fiona, Joshua, Ian Burke, Judah, Eliana and Isla Rose. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
