He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Emma; and his brothers, Harry and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his sisters, Laura Peterka and Sarah Whalen; and his stepchildren, Marilyn Haynie, Kathleen Russell, Charles Smith and Daniel Smith. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a private interment in Beverly National Cemetery.
