He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dowd and Eileen Dowd. He is survived by: his wife Anita Dowd (Zaharioudakis); his daughter Alaina Dowd; his siblings, Marilyn Datz (John), Gary Dowd (June) and Robert Dowd (Lucille); his niece Christina Dowd; his nephew Brian Dowd (Melissa); and his great-niece Emma.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ in New Brunswick, NJ.
