He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his stepdaughters, Cheryl Dill (Rob) and Stephanie La France (late Michael); his grandchildren, Casey LaFrance, Nicholas and Ryan Dill; and his siblings, Patricia Carry (Arthur), Laura Muir (Richard) and David Trebing (Kathy). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
