He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Wendy Velez (Al Cataline), Richard Velez, Linda Velez Galietta (Marc Galietta) and Velisha Velez; his grandchildren, Danielle Elizabeth, Ashleah Marie, Isabella Marie, Kaya Rose, Nicole Elise, Kristin and Camryn Rose; his great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Nathan, Noah and Skyla; his siblings, Efrain Velez, Elizabeth Velez, Almando Velez and Maria Velez; his nieces, Debbie Layne and Sylvia Velez; and his great-nephew Will Diaz.
