He is survived by: his sons, Michael Hayes and Herbert Hayes III; his brother Thomas Hayes; his wife Terri "Cutie" Hayes; his daughter Shonda Widen (William); and his brother James Hayes (Gayle). He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
