He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Coulson and Alma Coulson; and his siblings, Bobbie Jewell Coulson, Peggy Coulson Kent, Mary Lou Coulson, George Coulson, James Connie Coulson (JC), Rixie Coulson, Ernest Wayne Coulson and Jimmy Coulson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna C. Coulson; his brother Billy Coulson (Ruthie) of Fort Wayne, IN; his sons, David Coulson (Hilda) of Eden, NC and Jon Coulson (Jessica) of Bartlett, TN; his daughter-in-law Michelle Coulson Davis (Richard) of Reidsville, NC; his grandchildren, Jonathan Coulson of Ridgeway, VA, Jacob Coulson of Bartlett, TN and Gracie Coulson Carter (Bryson) of Dry Fork, VA; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Levi Coulson of Roanoke, VA. and Oaklyn Grace Carter.
