With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Kirkham Westhead Jr. of Rumson, New Jersey, born in Montclair, New Jersey, who passed away on September 12, 2020 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Westhead and Margaret Westhead (Dwyer); and his wife Mary Westhead (Dettinger). He is survived by: his children, George K. Westhead (Linda), John Jude Westhead (Diane), Dr. Kathleen Dennis (Thomas), Dr. Mary Elizabeth Westhead of Long Branch, Marguerite Chavez (Patrick) of Oceanport, Teresa Westhead (Mark Roesner) and Dorothy Westhead (Daniel Thormann) of Monmouth Beach; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joseph, Matthew, Jennifer, Mark, Marguerite, Rachel, Miles, Jack, Patrick, Pierre, Phelan, Olivia, Mary Nola, Jessica, Jacob, Billy, Gidget and Sidney. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
