He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward John, Sr. and Mary Cushing. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Edward J. III (MaryEllen), Kevin (Elizabeth), Mary Pat Van Etten, Maureen Yigiter (Taner), Megan Hagans (Michael) and Joanne Berth (Michael); his grandchildren, Sarah, Riley, Edward IV, Scott, Morgan, Patrick, Michael, Grace, Kaleigh, Sean, Quinn, Taner, Maxwell, Ela and Alexander; and his brothers, Thomas, Michael and John.
