He was predeceased by: his parents, Oystein Rordal and Tora Rordal; his wife Evelyn Rordal (Pedersen); his siblings, Herlaug Rordal and Sigrid Rordal-Hammer; and his siblings-in-law, Torstein Hammer and Alice Solberg.
He is survived by: his son Douglas K. Rordal (Jacqueline); his siblings-in-law, Solveig Rordal and John Solberg; his nephew Arild Rordal; and his nieces, Unni Reid, Donna Solberg and Linda Hodgkins.
