He was predeceased by: his brother Marvin Kempner. He is survived by: his wife Lois Neiman Kempner; his children, Ellen Kempner (Lee Sucherman), Michael Kempner (Jacqueline Kempner) and Brian Kempner (Laura Kempner); his grandchildren, Jamie O'Berry (Bentley O'Berry), Emily Sucherman, Zachary Kempner, Melissa Kempner, Olivia Kempner, Ethan Kempner and Ross Kempner; his great grandchild Wyatt O'Berry; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Kempner.
