It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Sypen (Ridgewood, New Jersey), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Sypen and Margaret Hutchinson Sypen; his wife Sally J. Sypen; his children, Russell, Michael Sypen and Michelle L. Cosimano (Anthony Cosimano); his grandchildren, Kara, Blaise Sypen, Elise and Cole Cosimano; his great grandchildren, Levi and Lucy Hartman; and his brother Richard Sypen (Barbara).

In remembrance of David Sypen the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Intrepid Museum.
