He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shimp and Anna Sweatman Shimp; and his son Dennis Shimp. He is survived by: his wife Marion Evans; his children, Glendon Shimp, Jr. (Bonnie) of Salem, Gary Shimp (Judy) of Woodstown, Michael Shimp (Susan) of Quinton, Brian Shimp (Tina) of Mt. Laurel and Lisa Baynes (Michael) of Quinton; and his brother George Shimp (Elizabeth) of Woodstown. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
