He is survived by: his wife Alice I Howell; his children, Carl Howell, Jr. (Dawn) of Quinton, Robert Howell (Caryn) of Quinton and Melissa Newkirk (David, Jr.) of Quinton; his siblings, Bill Howell (Barbara) of Quinton and Donna Hemple; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Kyle, Joshua, Julia, Jessica, Avery and Owen.
