He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Ed Brino of Pompton Plains. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Brino; his children, Nicole Thuring (Mike) of Pompton Plains, Robert N. D'Arienzo (Gabrielle) of Montville and Julianne Sclavounos (Aris) of Oakland; his grandchildren, Luca of Penelope, R. J. and Leo; his sister Francine Hamilton (Ralph) of Wayne; his nieces and nephews, Michael Hamilton (Kim), Jaclyn Hamilton, Reid Hensen and Stevie Hensen; his mother-in-law Rosalie; and his siblings-in-law, Christina Brino of Pompton Plains and Laurie Hensen (Reid) of Wayne.

His favorite songs to sing were Elton John's Rocket Man, The Foundation's Build Me up Buttercup, and anything by Boston.
