It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Lockenvitz (Pompton Plains, New Jersey), born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Gerth and Thelma Gerth; her husband Glenn Lockenvitz; and her sister Ethel May Hauptman. She is survived by: her children, Renee Lockenvitz, Jeff Lockenvitz (Carol), Lori Rosenberg (Michael) and Tim Lockenvitz (Jill Leonard); her grandchildren, Ryan Lockenvitz, Jessica Papageorge (Stephen), Dan Lockenvitz, Eric Lockenvitz and Phil Lockenvitz (Shelby); and her great grandchildren, Trevor and Vivian. She is also survived by husband and cherished the many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Ellen's memory to Holy Faith Lutheran Church would be greatly appreciated by her family.
