She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Patrick Fitzgerald and Ellen Fitzgerald; her husband Edmund McDonough; her daughters, Margaret McDonough and Dianne Halbach (William); her siblings, Oliver Fitzgerald and Siobhan Cussen; her grandchildren, Michael and Janine Macrone; and her great grandchildren, Michael and Scarlett. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory to the John Theurer Cancer Center in Hackensack would be greatly appreciated by her family.
