It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L Gennaro Sr. of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Gennaro and Felicia Gennaro; his wife Carol Gennaro (Strand); his children, Dr. Carol Ann DeGeorge (Joseph DeGeorge) of Annandale, NJ and Gregory Gennaro (Garland Herron); his grandchildren, Daniel DeGeorge, Dr. Alexandra DeGeorge and Gia Gennaro; his great grandchildren, Brooks DeGeorge, Conor Ganley and Max DeGeorge; and his son Dr. Richard Gennaro, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans Association.
