With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elinor Bartels of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey, born in Hawleyville, Connecticut, who passed away on February 17, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Bartels; and her sisters, Mary Alice Searle and Minna Herzig. She is survived by: her children, Douglas W. Bartels, Richard Bartels, Albia of Iowa and Debra; her son-in-law Harry Harrison of Pitman, NJ; her grandchildren, Rachel Bartels DeMicco, Michael and Pamela Harrison; and her great grandchild Julius DeMicco.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the William T. Norris scholarship fund of the Manasquan United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
