He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Engel and Irene Engel (Remeta); his grandparents, Gabriel, Julia Remeta and Theresa Engel; his aunts, Anna Kattowski, Eleanor Antonelli and Mary McGurk; his uncle Joseph Remeta; and his cousins, Wayne Remeta, Mark Remeta, Charles McGurk and James McGurk.
He is survived by: his uncle Butch (Michael Remeta); his cousins, Michael Gabriel Remeta, Denise Remeta, Juliann Remeta, Renee Valente, Peter Kattowski, Martha Harth, Eileen Kastanas and Richard McGurk; and his former wife Marcia Hanson.
