It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meta Troxell (Phillipsburg, New Jersey), born in Easton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gerken and Agnes Hippe Gerken; her husband Willard Troxell; her siblings, Margaret E. Edinger and William Gerken; and her sister-in-law Beatrice Emrick.
She is survived by: her children, Robert B. Troxell of Forks Township and Nancy J. Cook of Morris Park; her grandchildren, Steven Cook, Laurie Lyter (Tim) and Joshua Troxell; and her siblings-in-law, Don Troxell, Dolly Thorp and Loretta Gerken.
In lieu of flower, memorials may be made in Meta's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital; 262 Danny Thomas Place; Memphis, TN 38105.
