She was predeceased by: her children, A. C. Lawson, Jr. and Edith Bull; and her siblings, Leila Hill, Mamie Kearney, Josephine Holmes, Annie Fedd, James, Ethel, Willie, Eddie, Moses and Joseph Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Thom; and her children, Anne Howe (Michael), Lonnie Lawson (Arlene), Fernando Lawson (Gwendolyn) and Willie Anderson (Tawanna). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
