He was predeceased by: his father Michael Roberts. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Roberts (Heather); his wife Rebecca Roberts (Heydecke); his sons, Ethan Roberts and Dylan Roberts; his siblings, Andrew Roberts (Jennifer) and Jacqueline Strydom (Dirk); his mother-in-law Eileen Heydecke; his brother-in-law Jeff Heydecke; and his nieces, Heather, Amy and Megan.
