He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jones and Virgie Jones; his wife Madeline Thompson; and his children, Roger and Laverne Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Thompson, Raymond Thompson, Barbara Thompson and Maurice Thompson; his sister Louise Johnson (Ben Johnson); and his sister-in-law Delores Green. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
