He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Florence; his wife Julie S. Clayton; his brothers, Richard and Paul; and his grandson Cory D. Clayton.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas R. Clayton (Dana), William R. Clayton (Nancy) and Daniel O. Clayton (Christine); his grandchildren, Carli Clayton-Haas (Damian), Jennifer Clayton, Casey Clayton (Maren), William Clayton (Ashley), Matthew Clayton and Julia Clayton; and his great grandchildren, Darla, Harrison, Katherine Haas, Russell, Graham Clayton, Ryleigh and Cole Clayton. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
