He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe F. Marx and Ruth K. Marx; and his sister Ellen Marx Winters. He is survived by: his sister Barbara Longo (Alfred) of Summerville; and his nephews, Scott Winters of Naperville, Michael Winters (Kelly) of Toms River, Philip Longo of Santa Cruz and Adam Longo (Hellen) of Charleston.
In memory of Joseph, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Ronald McDonald House of Central and Northern New Jersey.
