She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman George Glenz and Carolyn Breitmeyer. She is survived by: her sister Carol Boyatsis; her nephews, Tom Boyatsis of Sparkhill, NY and Tim Boyatsis (Patty Suppa); and her great-niece Jill Boyatsis of Pearl River, NY..

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joan's memory to Ranch Hope of Alloway, NJ, and Grace Lutheran Church of Somers Point, NJ.
