With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Patrick Finnegan Sr. of Ocean City, New Jersey, born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 7, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Finnegan and Mary Finnegan. He is survived by: his wife Catharine Finnegan; his sons, James P. Finnegan, Jr. and John (Dinieth Finnegan); his grandchildren, Sara Catharine Finnegan and Gunnery Sergeant Julio Sanchez; and his sister Suzanne Ahnell.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots.
