She was predeceased by: her husband Hans; her parents, John Barrett and Marie Barrett; and her siblings, James Robert "Bobby", John James "Sonny", Joan "Doan" Kelleman and Dolores "Lorrie" Hermann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Cartmell (Bruce) and Sherri Barrett (John); her grandchildren, Dane Cartmell (Sara), Amanda Cartmell Russell, Megan Barrett Fiore (Matthew), Bonnie Barrett and Kaitlyn Barrett; her great grandchildren, Sean, Raelin and Brendan Cartmell; and her pets, Abby and Muffin. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Martha's Roman Catholic Church, Point Pleasant, NJ.
