Ruby, Jr and Richard Ruby; his stepchildren, Nicole Dowdell and Rebecca Washington; his mother Edith Wildman; his stepfather Richard Wildman; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Alanna, Olivia Ruby, Ethan Ruby, Joseph Ruby-Burrow and Liam Burrow; and his sisters, Darlene Clark, Bambie Meineke, Elizabeth Hart, Cheryl Balmos and Michelle Howard. He was also cherished by animals, and leaves behind many cats.
