He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Byrne and Evelyn Byrne; and his sister Lynne. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Mannix Byrne, Jr. (Rebecca) of West Hartford, CT and James Alexander Byrne of North Haledon; his grandchildren, Michael Mannix Byrne III and Morgan Byrne; his fiancée Lois Bonistalli; his fiancée's child Nikki Reynolds; his granddaughter Adriana; his siblings, Thomas (Sharon), Lisa (Roy), Jeffrey (Marianne) and Laura; his nephews, Justin, Patrick, Sean, Billy and Hendrik; and his niece Lauren.
