He was predeceased by: his father Eugne A. Lynch; and his sister Catherine. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Jessica and Owen; his mother Sarah Lynch; and his siblings, Mary Lynch, Thomas (Cathy), Daniel (Annie), Sarah Siemers (Todd), Theresa Ferrari (Donald) and Christine Campa (Scott). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
