It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elvira Taboada in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jose E. Taboada; her son Jose (Pepiño); her siblings, German Gamallo and Aracelia Gamallo; and her son-in-law Jose Nogueiras.

She is survived by: her children, Jorge (Betty), Neir Nogueiras and Herminia T. Ulker (Erol Ulker); and her grandchildren, Sandra Caruso, George Nogueiras, Ashley, Kaitlin, Lisa, Ariel, Valeria and Carolina.
